Attention of the clients of "Ukrainian Universal Exchange" LLC
The Law of Ukraine "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine Regarding the Simplification of Investment Attraction and Introduction of New Financial Instruments" No. 738-IX dd. June 19, 2020 adopted a new version of the Law of Ukraine "On Commodity Exchanges" (hereinafter - the Law), which entered into force on July 1, 2021.
According to this Law, by July 1, 2021, all commodity exchanges had to change their organizational and legal form to a joint-stock company, a limited liability company or a company with additional liability. Also, commodity exchanges have the right to carry out their activity in the organization and conduct of exchange trades on the condition of obtaining a license to carry out professional activities in organized commodity markets - activities in the organization of trade in products on commodity exchanges.
Therefore, in accordance with this Law, the General Meeting of Members of the Ukrainian Universal Exchange on March 17, 2021 adopted a decision to reorganize by transforming into a Limited Liability Company. Information on the state of termination on March 17, 2021 was entered in the USR (decision of the founders (participants) of a legal entity or a body authorized by them regarding the termination of a legal entity as a result of its reorganization).
Additionally, we note that according to Art. 108 of the Civil Code of Ukraine in connection with the transformation into a new legal entity - LLC "Ukrainian Universal Exchange" transferred all property, all rights and obligations of the previous legal entity of Ukrainian Universal Exchange. Identification code 25158707 and individual tax number 251587016013 were retained by the legal successor (UUE LLC).
LLC "Ukrainian Universal Exchange" has the status of a commodity exchange and is a professional participant of organized commodity markets in connection with the license to carry out professional activities on organized commodity markets - activities for the organization of trade in products on commodity exchanges (decision of the National Commission on Securities and Stock market No. 842 dd. September 30, 2021).
